[PCB Members] Last night

Hey Band,

It was a pleasure to work with you last night.  I really appreciate your patience with the early start for the brass, the modified schedule, and the late release.  The rehearsal was intense but - We got a lot done.   

The next two Mondays will also be serious rehearsals.  I think the band has the potential to continue to raise our musical performance level, and to this end I intend to do my absolute best to facilitate this.

Each of you can help this in three very important ways.

	Please do your best to attend.  (I know this is at times impossible, but if at all possible, please come)

	Be ready to listen, stay connected to what is going on in the rehearsal and do not add distractions.

	Play your instrument as much as possible the next three weeks and come prepared.  (I can’t stress enough how important this is)

I realize that there are parts of the pieces we have programmed, that may be beyond the ability level of some of you.  That is understandable.  



Make it your goal to alway be prepared to play to your highest potential on parts that are within you ability level.


Edit passages to make them more accessible or leave them out.  We can function as a team where everyone contributes to their highest potential.

Please remember to download “God Bless the USA”.  We will perform this with the choir.

Jim and I feel very good about our progress and  look forward to making this an entertaining and musically satisfying concert for both our band members and the audience
