I really appreciate your patience with the early start for the brass, the modified schedule, and the late release. The rehearsal was intense but - <u style="font-weight: bold;" class="">We got a lot done.</u> </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The next two Mondays will also be serious rehearsals. I think the band has the potential to continue to raise our musical performance level, and to this end I intend to do my absolute best to facilitate this.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Each of you can help this in three very important ways.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span><b class="">Please do your best to attend. (I know this is at times impossible, but if at all possible, please come)</b></div><div class=""><b class=""><br class=""></b></div><div class=""><b class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Be ready to<u class=""> listen</u>, stay connected to what is going on in the rehearsal and do not add distractions.</b></div><div class=""><b class=""><br class=""></b></div><div class=""><b class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Play your instrument as much as possible the next three weeks and come prepared. </b>(I can\u2019t stress enough how important this is)</div><div class=""><b class=""><br class=""></b></div><div class="">I realize that there are parts of the pieces we have programmed, that may be beyond the ability level of some of you. That is understandable. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div style="text-align: center;" class=""><br class=""></div><div style="text-align: center;" class=""><br class=""></div><div style="text-align: center;" class=""><b style="font-size: 14px;" class="">Make it your goal to alway be prepared to play to your highest potential on parts that are within you ability level.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;" class=""><b style="font-size: 14px;" class=""><br class=""></b></div><div style="text-align: left;" class=""><span style="font-size: 14px;" class=""><br class=""></span></div><div style="text-align: left;" class="">Edit passages to make them more accessible or leave them out.
