Band,

I just wanted to take the moment to thank you for a very fun evening and a good way to start the summer series for the PCB.

Joe and I have continued to throw a lot of material at you for this summer, and with the ACB concert stuck in there, we have had fewer rehearsals to prep for the summer.
I like how musically you all played this evening and I was especially thankful that when things were not going exactly right, you looked up (as I had requested) and we were back on track in just a few measures.
It is these moments that make me proud about where we are headed.  For us to not be at our best, but we still put on a concert that our patrons enjoyed and we had fun doing.

A big thank you to all of you for the quick clean up following the concert.  With everyone chipping in and packing up their chair and stand, it made the tear down go very smoothly.
The comment of "you can leave the first two rows" that was thrown out totally cracked me up!

We had a few of our volunteers call in late this afternoon having to cancel and I appreciate Rebecca taking on so much of that with such a small support group.
Thank you Zach for helping out in a pinch to run some of the prizes out so that we could stay on schedule.
Thank you to Janice for the script tonight and for helping me out with a new nickname....

For those of you who played your first summer concert with the PCB, thank you and welcome to the crazy (and fun) that is the summer with the PCB.  We get to swim through it 3 more times before the end of July.

Have a wonderful week and remember, rehearsal next Monday night at JP2 with a focus on the Kid's Concert pieces.
