[PCB Members] Trombone choir concert

At noon on June 9th (Thursday), the North Dallas Trombone Choir will perform at the monthly Seniors gathering in the Chapel of the First United Methodist Church at 3160 East Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.  Visitors and  guests are invited and encouraged to attend. They are also invited to partake in the luncheon prior to the performance ($6 per person) which starts at 11:30. If you want to join in on the lunch, please let me (David Young - trombone) know by Tuesday Guests choosing not to eat there are also welcome to come and just listen to the Choir. The program will be over by 12:45.  Attached is a picture of the entrance on the North Side of the church, off of Spring Creek.  The entrance to the chapel is just a few feet from the door.

Below is a youtube link to a video of the Choir's performing in March after a long break due in part to COVID (note - Elmer has heard it and "approved.").  (Some of these songs we will play, but will also add St. Louis Blues, Swing Low sweet Chariot, and possibly some others.)  The songs played on the video are not identified due to copyright concerns, but are as follows:

  *   Scarborough Fair
  *   Summertime
  *   Simple Gifts--Deep River
  *   Amazing Grace
  *   Beautiful River
