*FUNDRAISING GOALS*
*The Plano Community Band is seeking $15,000.00 to support the following in
our 2019-2020 season. *
*1. Free concerts:* *"Mondays in the Park" *each summer at Haggard Park, 3
concerts in the world-class Eisemann Center, and other concerts at various
venues in Plano.
*2. Music for Life Educational Outreach:* A program that
provides free musical education assistance to Plano ISD middle school bands
through clinics, musician-led tutoring, and student scholarships. This
program is staffed by volunteer band members and our conductors donating
their time and musicianship to these kids.

Thank you for your attendance and focus on Monday evening. As you can
tell, we do have a lot of music to cover and prepare for the November
concert.
We made some additional headway tonight and several of the things that were
pointed out started to get corrected.
Here is a listening list that I told you I would send out. It will be
beneficial to have your parts out when you listen to the recordings so that
you can see how your part fits within the ensemble and you can start to
help decipher some of the trickier rhythms.

$50 x 80 people =$4000.

Our dues don’t quite cover the cost of *ONE* Eisemann concert.
*ADS for the NOVEMBER CONCERT PROGRAM*
Ads are being sold to offset the cost of printing the programs for the
November concert. The form is found on the PCB website.
Ideas: real estate agents, dentists, dry cleaners, insurance agents, car
dealerships, and restaurants you frequent. Or, get together with your
section and take out an AD!
ADs are $100 for a half-page and $175 for a full page. All ADs are in
color.
