Hey Band

I previously emailed everyone that one of our pieces would be a “break out” group creating a small wind ensemble of about 35.  John Mackey had indicated on the score that he basically preferred one on a part.  I was intrigued by the variety of sound this could provide in our next concert and with a few exceptions we will try that scoring.  The following attachment is the list of players for this piece.  We will be using a 9:00 to 9:30 time period on Monday’s to rehearse the piece.  The first rehearsal will be September 30th.  There is a pretty good recording by Auburn University on youtube.
