The band’s rehearsal and performance season begins in September and ends in late July following our summer concert season.
There are no auditions required to join the band, however we request that prospective members have the ability to play the level of literature currently being rehearsed. We also expect all members to volunteer some time to the band’s administrative activities. Yearly dues are payable after three weeks with the band.
The Plano Community Band is currently accepting new members in the following sections:
Band rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:15 pm to 9:15 pm at John Paul II High School at Coit and Plano Parkway in Plano.
