Hey Band,

I think everyone - performers and audience - had a great time Sunday. We had a large and enthusiastic audience and the combination of band and choir made for a very entertaining show. The band played really well. Every piece was presented with solid technique, musicality, and energy. The heart and soul of this band always comes through in performance and every tune had wonderful moments of musical passion. Your standers remain high. I received many compliments for both friends and musicians.

Considering the complexity of the show and the age of the choir, I think the logistics were surprisingly smooth. Special thanks to Marilyn Mattei who served as choir guide and to all of you for being patient and helping the choir members. Jim did super extra duty moving choir risers and organizing all our special equipment. I also really appreciate his conducting and music making.

Our next Eisemann concert is not far off. We perform April 30th on Sunday. Look for the following pieces to be posted and I am working part assignments. If you don’t see one before rehearsal, print the part you had last Sunday.

Battle Pavane
Irish Tune From County Derry
Florentiner March
Enigma Variations Theme, 1, 2, 5, Finale
West Point Symphony
Vesuvius
Le Mis

I am looking forward to working with all of you on this next wonderful set of music and our next performance

Cordially,

Joe Frank
