Hey Band,

You gave a very successful rehearsal last night.  We have a solid start on our November pieces.  While the music is still rough, the ensemble as a whole is starting to “gel” again.  I am hearing signs of the band as it sounded before our forced break.  KEEP PRACTICING.  We can make so much more progress with ensemble expression, facility, and accuracy if everyone has a solid mastery of their individual part.  My thanks to the soloists for being so well prepared.  Please keep communicating your rehearsal availability to your section leaders, and section leaders, please communicate with your section to help insure we are all on the same page.

I am already looking forward to and am excited about our next rehearsal!
