Band,
 
We have talked at rehearsals about how Joe plans in advance what specific parts of the music he is going to work on with us each Monday night.  He makes his plans on the assumption that all of us will be at rehearsal.  If we have key players missing from rehearsal and Joe doesn’t know in advance, then he has to change his plans for the evening on the fly.
 
When you know in advance that you will miss a rehearsal, we ask that you send an email to your section administrator (names below) no later than Sunday at noon, the day before rehearsal.  Section administrators, please email the names of the folks who will miss to Joe Frank either Sunday evening or first thing Monday morning so he has time to adjust his rehearsal plans.  
 
If you have an unplanned absence, such as illness or getting stuck late at work, please contact your section administrator as soon as you know you will miss rehearsal.
 
These are the names of the section administrators for this season.  Some names may be different that in past years.  Please don’t take any changes personally.  You are all wonderful, valued members of the band.
