Greetings All

Last Monday night was a wonderful experience!  Lew Buckley did an outstanding job working with our group.  I could not have been more proud of the way you responded.  There was hard work, attentive musicians and some very exciting music making.  Many times through the rehearsal I kept thinking that I had never heard the band sound better.  Mr.  Buckley did not baby you and it is a special compliment that he worked at a high level of musical expression and sensitivity.  He kept demanding that the music be right because he knew you would respond.   I think it's important to continue learning no matter your age and I learned a great deal Monday night.  I hope each of you did as well.  I will do my best to build on the "boost" he gave us.  We have four more rehearsals to work out the kinks, push musical detail and build confidence in performance continuity.  Please know your attendance and preparation is most appreciated.  I am very excited about where we are and where we can be.
