It was 3.5 of the longest hours of our lives. We learned the following things of interest to the PCB:</div><div><br></div><div>1. City Council approved designating Downtown Plano as an Arts District and has adopted the “Downtown Arts, Culture and Events Plan” (attached) as a guide to future development. The Saigling House has been incorporated into the Arts District as well. Info in the attached document.</div><div>2. Haggard Park will be getting a new cover over the rail car. This will help keep the sun and weather off of the train and make it more pleasant inside. We are not sure when this work will happen, but it is not likely to interfere with any of our outdoor concerts. </div><div>3. The Senior Center is getting a $1M renovation in 2016. They are expanding to the north and maybe to the west, at least until they hit the flood plain and have to stop. They are enlarging the cafeteria for sure. We don’t know when this will happen. Hopefully it won’t affect our March or December performances.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Jennifer</div></body></html>
