I don't think it will be a big deal to move it to the 12th.  We haven't solicited the volunteer band yet anyway.

Actually,  it has been the closest Thursday to the date.  Not very often has it fallen after, but it has.
I was just going by what the contact person told me, but that was a year ago and their council has changed
over.  After talking a  while with Becky (member at large) she said there have been some communication
issues....yeah, ya don't say.  She wasn't even the person assigned to reach out to us but took it on.
Sure am glad she did.

We have always done the St. Patrick's Day concert the Thursday BEFORE St. Patrick's Day.

I got a call from Becky Horn (not the person I have spoken with before) asking if we were still on for the St. Patty's event on MARCH 12TH!! This date has been published in the Parks Department, Leisure Magazine.

I told her that we were told and have had on our calendar for a long time the March 19th date.

I let her know that we have a rehearsal tonight, and I would talk to the conductors and get back with her.

I don't think it will be a big deal...we will have a rehearsal between the joint concert and the Sr. concert.
But that is totally up to the bosses.

As a staunch supporter of this concert, they are really wearing on me.

Let's talk tonight after rehearsal.
